It’s my first indoor cycling class, what should I expect?


Indoor cycling is adaptable to all levels of fitness. Upon arrival,  let the instructor know it is your first class to ensure you are properly fitted on your bike and the mechanics of the bike are explained . Also, please let the instructor know of any ailments/injuries  (or if you are pregnant) before getting on the bike. Once class begins, work within your comfort zone and adjust the gears accordingly.
During the ride,   carefully listen to the instructor and your body!
Remember…it’s your first class, learn before you burn! (Calories that is!)


What should I wear/bring?

Wear :  comfortable exercise clothing that you would normally exercise in. Loose,  baggy sweat pants are not advised. Also, make sure you wear a good stiff soled sneaker! Note: All of our bikes are equipped with SPD compatible clips…so bring your cycling shoes!

Bring:  Water – if you forget, don’t worry we have bottled water available for purchase.
             Towel –if you forget, don’t worry we plenty of fresh towels!


What are the benefits of indoor cycling?


Indoor cycling offers a variety of benefits -

  • Low impact on hips, knees and joints
  • High caloric burn (depending on the intensity you put forth)
  • Excellent cross training
  • Weight loss, muscle toning
  • Lastly, an excellent cardio workout

Do you have storage for my stuff?

Yes, we do provide a cubicle for you to store your belongings!


Do you have showers?

No, unfortunately we do not have shower facilities.


Can I bring my own cycling shoes?

Yes! All our bikes have SPD compatible pedals
